Background

Eataly is the largest Italian marketplace in the world. They have over twenty locations worldwide and five in the U.S.

Their physical marketplaces have a variety of restaurants, food and beverage counters, bakery, retail items, and a cooking school.

They sell retail items on their website, www.eataly.com. This document walks through the website redesign.

Signs like this are scattered throughout the massive flatiron NYC location driving visitors to their website. This was no shock as 8 of the 10 people we spoke with were tourists.
